Arman Abkar

Software Developer

Beyond the Screen

Hi, I'm Arman — a Software Developer, Technical Writer, aspiring Game Designer, and passionate guitarist. I enjoy building web and mobile applications, exploring new technologies, and turning ideas into things people can actually use. I'm driven to create solutions that are not just functional, but meaningful — solving real problems and creating great experiences.

To me, innovation isn't just about what happens on the screen — it's about the experience behind it. The emotions it sparks, the problems it solves, and the connections it creates in the real world.

As a technology enthusiast, I'm always learning, experimenting, and exploring new ideas. I actively contribute to open-source projects, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and writing automated tests. I'm also committed to sharing knowledge through articles and tutorials on my Medium blog, helping other developers along the way. I'm involved in the NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) project and the Tone3000 community as well, contributing to the open capture ecosystem and sharing free guitar amp captures with the community.

Beyond technology, I'm passionate about guitar and enjoy exploring guitar tones, amp modeling, and music production. I'm always looking for new things to learn, build, and experiment with — whether it's software, game design, or music.

Have an idea you'd like to build?
I'm always open to interesting projects and collaborations. Feel free to reach out:
